Last time I saw Jeannie, we had decided to get lunch together and just relax for an afternoon.  Yet, even when we’re not working, we’re still shooting each other.  Especially when we have lunch right by an awesome little park  Here are a few from our walk around the park.

It’s been almost two months since my boyfriend Matt and I headed up to Ventura to join his family at a beach house they rented for the week of 4th of July.  Going through these photos brings me back to a vacation of no stress, all relaxation, a little bit of beer and margaritas, and a lot of fun.

We saw a lot of cool things right in the backyard of this beach house on a somewhat regular basis.  The front yard was what I imagine a tropical garden would look like.  The sun set right where we could see all the colors of the horizon blazing.  One evening enormous pelican even landed on the rocks in the backyard and almost got into a fight with the family dog Winston!

Winston would NOT stop digging in the sand almost the entire time we were there!  I think the texture freaked him out a little bit.

We tried to find grunion, but found the police trying to catch people shooting off fireworks instead.

Winston tired himself out so much at the end of the trip that we posed him with a tequila bottle and he didn’t even move from his spot.

As some of you already know, Matt and I moved to Long Beach a few weeks ago.  We’re in an awesome little one bedroom apartment about 4 blocks away from the beach (so hurry up and tell us if you want to arrange a beach trip soon! ).  It’s amazing, awesome and I’m having a blast living with my wonderful boyfriend.  Having never moved anywhere in my life before, it’s been quite an experience!  No doubt about that it’s a very exciting experience though

So now that we’ve had a chance to move in, get settled, and start figuring out our routines again, I was finally able to snap some shots around the new place!  We have no decorations up yet (posters, photos, anything framed, etc.), but we’ve got mostly everything else in order, so I’ve put together a photo-tour for you all to take through our new place today!

A few weeks ago Jill had her 24th birthday party in Long Beach.  Friends from near and far came to celebrate and enjoy this day with her.  There were guests from Sacramento and Texas!  Drinks, laughter, painting, dancing to win prizes, and an awesome venue thanks to Mr. Anthony Cruz!
